I quite enjoyed this collection of shorts from what I believe is a debut author. Each story is unique and effectively blends elements of horror, dread, and pathos. The language is descriptive and colorful. The author does a good job putting her characters in existential peril. I'll gladly read more from this author.
Each spine-tingling story has a surprise ending that forces the reader to take a peek at the next story to see what it is about. Make sure you have enough time before you start because you may find once you start reading, you can't stop.
Great read. Interesting depth of stories and definitely recommend it.
